Oniel Moncrieffe was born in Jamaica on November 12, 1966. He went to St Peter Claver School for special needs, then to the Hope Institute where he graduated with a certificate in agriculture. He migrated to the US in 1993. Oneil was well loved and known to explore places in search of prizes and treasures, which he would place in his bag with other items such as books, letters, pencil etc. He was very independent, strong will and loved his church. Oneil did not have much words to say, but when asked if he had anything to say, his two words were "Baptised and Heaven". He will also hit or want to fight you and later would say one of his well known words, Sorrrryy.

He left behind, his mother Lorna Johnson, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws and a lot of friends.
